I love this quote. It reminds me that, despite what's going on in the external world or the fluctuations of my own thoughts and emotions, I can find a state of mental and emotional equilibrium.
I may have posted this quote before on Facebook, but I’m sharing it again because a couple of questions have come up recently –
What do we mean when we talk about cultivating a state of inner stillness?
What is involved?
You can find lots of helpful information about inner stillness and what it involves, along with a range of approaches and techniques, many of which I’ve tried and or studied over the years. I have found they incorporate some common key elements and I would like to share some information about these elements through a series of short blog posts for you over the coming weeks. The key things I’ll cover are:
Awareness – Mindfulness – Acceptance – Perspective – Letting Go - Meditation & Breathwork – Self Care
I hope you enjoy taking a deeper look into inner stillness and find some tools to help you on your path. Remember, it is a practice that requires patience and persistence.
Depending on your personal circumstances, you may resonate with some concepts more than others. Along the way you may discover that you have blocks in certain areas, you may find that unresolved issues from the past hinder your progress or even seem to stop you. Please don’t be stopped, keep going and build strength from your determination and persistence. There are lots of people who can help if you need it.
I have more than 10 years of experience in helping people to finally let go of what’s at the core of their issues. You can read their stories and learn more about my services on my website, maybe it’s what you are looking for. You can also book a free enquiry call from my website - simply follow the prompts. Please feel free to reach out to me.
I do hope you enjoy the following short blogs, I hope you find something in them to help you on your way to discovering and keeping stillness within you.
